You are already feeling nervous and so curious that she might not like you at all, these are all a normal feeling of the unknown. But you really have to believe that you can win her love because you are a real man.
Here are things you shouldn't do on a first date

Be true to yourself: You don't have to put on a fake identity when you are trying to woo her just to impress her.  you don't need to act like what you are not because faking an identity may end up making you look stupid and she would count your false first impression as a bunch of lies.

Build up self confident: This is one of the best ways to get started is talking to her. This motivates you to build that confident around her, start with polite informal conversations; you don't ideally have to get into something out of the line just to show her how over Confident you appear, stay calm and always remember crack up some jokes and still maintsin the conversation. Make sure you also give her chance to express herself.

Never bring up your bad past: If you've had failed relationships previously, don't worry. Just don't let past experiences come in between. Move over that and try to see how you can work things out between the two of you. The more you brood over your past the more difficult it will be for you to look forward to a relationship with your new love interest.

Take initiatives: Make it a point to take the girl you like out for a dinner or a movie. Text/call her on weekends and ask her if she is free to come around with you. The more you take initiatives, the easier it will be for you to form a bond with her.

Accept your shyness: If you didn't know, women look out for men who are naturally humble. So while you may have to work on your self-comfort and confidence level, be sure your woman will acknowledge you for being modest. At times being shy works wonders for your relationship.
