National tragedy: As Deadly Wildfires in Greece Leaving at Least 50 Dead!


Twin flames seething through Greece have led to the death of about 50 individuals as wind-whipped flares cleared through forestland. More than 100 have been harmed, and the Spanish government has sent two land and/or water capable planes to help fight the blasts, as indicated by The Associated Press. A prior report said 150 had been hospitalized.
According to a Greece's inside priest, Panos Skourletis, he disclosed to Sky News the flames as "national Tragedy" and a "biblical disaster with human losses."

As flames, which began around 5 p.m. nearby time Monday, wore out of control on either side of the Greek capital of Athens, autos and homesteads and woods were burnt, with many individuals dashing toward shorelines to be saved by the waiting boats.
In excess of 700 individuals were protected by the Coast Guard, Sky News detailed.

However, the blazes are yet to reach in Athens. Nikos Stavrinidis and his spouse snatched whatever they could from their late spring home in the Mati territory close Ravina and kept running for their lives, he said.

Turkey has joined Spain in offering to give help, like providing planes and helicopters, to Greece. It will help a long way to save more lives.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said his Greek partner, Nikos Kotzias, expressed gratitude toward him for the offer however that the help wasn't yet required, the AP detailed. 
According to the Prime Minister Tsipras, "Today Greece is mourning, and in memory of those who were lost, we are declaring a three-day period of mourning," "The country is going through an unspeakable tragedy, but we mustn't let mourning overwhelm us, because these hours are hours of battle, unity, courage and above all solidarity."

Bekir Pakdemirli, Turkey's agriculture and forestry minister, said firefighting planes are "45 minutes away if there is a request and we are to intercede immediately."
People were stuck in traffic even on the freeways in an attempt to run away from the fast blazing fire, but only to be trapped in their cars by the deadly flames.
